Formerly known as "GreenTree Apartments". We pay $529 per month for 1200 sq ft. Washer/dryer included. Great closet space. Nice size rooms. Generally, good apartment though roughly 25 years old (they have a newer section, about 12 years old, same rent but nicer apartments). The complex sits on 40 acres of wooded land and has a "nature trail" along the outer rim of the property, through woods. 2 swimming pools, work out room, 1 playground.





When we moved in, we told management that there were no locks on the windows. After 2 months, this has still not been corrected. We jammed dowel rods into the window slots.





Also mentioned was a toilet that runs constantly. They have never called or come by to fix it.





We found half a joint (marijuana) in one of the cupboards in the kitchen.





None of the light switches in bedrooms work. They don?t turn on any outlet on the wall, anywhere.





The playground had broken benches on it for about a month.





When we hiked the 2 mile nature trail around the property, it was scary how many references there were to drugs. There had been obvious camp outs where wood was burned and pot leaves were painted on rocks as well as "4:20" and other marijuana references.





Our neighbors are the worst I have had in ten years of apartment living. The property policy is to call the police, not the management (or to handle it yourself)





Our neighbor stores an oil drainage container in the shrubs. He once was seen by my wife and I dumping oil directly on the shrubs. One might think maintenance would notice this. Either they didn?t or don?t care. Bad for the environment and illegal.





It?s not uncommon to see trash in the shrubs.



I would not recommend Taylors Crossing under any circumstance. It's quickly going further down the toilet if that is possible. The managers don?t seem to care because there are just too many loose ends. We have written complaint letters to Stonemark Management and directly to the leasing office... we have had no response at all which really makes me think they don't give a ---- as long as rent is paid. This place is mismanaged and the property earns a "1" at best. We have already left a 6 month notice on our moving out.
