I lived at Granby Oaks for 2 and a half years, and moved to Granby crossing (right accross the street) because the people who worked there were sooooooo mean. They were bunch of racists!! I haven't lived there in 2 years, so maybe the staff changed, but the maintnance was horrible. They didn't fix my air cond. for 2 months!! and my frige. and then, they had the nerve to tell me that the frige broke because I put too much food in it! it's so old that everytime you walk, the person below you can hear EVERYTHING. EVERY conversation. and i swear the average people who live there are over 70. it's a retirement home. I was a student at USC, and Granby oaks made my 2 year of college life miserable. If I had know better, and my rights as a tenent, I would have sued...but I was too young and naive. If you decide to live there, because to their credit, they do offer reasonable rates and size, be aware!!!! oh, one more thing. State street is one of the most dangerous street in that area, and I've heard gun shots/many incidents. You don't even have to take my word on this, just anyone who's lived in cayce. so safety is an issue. .. and getting out of that intersection infront of windix. is a -----
