if you are looking for a nice place in the middle of the mexican getto then you have found the right place. By law they can not tell you this at the office, but riverbend is about 90% latino with probably 50% illegal residents. most apartments are over full with only one person on the lease. American women (white and black) are hit on and even followed back to their apartments on a weekly basis.

Drug deals and gun shots sounding in the night is not a rare occurance here. The management is an evil lady that if you complain she will find some off the wall reason to kick you out so more non-complaining illegal residents can move in. B/H management hardly knows of these problems because if you leave your name with your complaint you will be kicked out in about month by Judi. the walls and ceiling in the apartment are thin and I can hear my neighboor go to the bathroom. when people walk above me it sounds like they are stomping when they are only walking. Many night I will stay awake because of the walking above me. The apartments were built in the 1970's so the construction is poor. The AC units are on the roof and most are rusted and the electric bill for a 1 bedroom is usually $80 (because of AC). Most apartments do not have outlets in the bathrooms with is a violation of the renting code.
