My family lived in the Wellington Apartments while building a house. We lived there for a little over a year. I no longer live anywhere remotely near the mid-west, but have been thinking about moving back, and about moving back into the Wellington's with my husband. I remember it being quiet with nice residents, I enjoyed the indoor and out door pool, along with the hot tub, sauna and fitness room. I used the tanning beds almost everyday, and thought that the grounds always looked nice. Apartments are apartments though, so if you've lived in one, you've lived in them all. There is nothing particularly special about the actual apartments in the wellington, but I feel like they are more modern looking than some. I never had any problems with the fridge, or dish washer, or microwave or laundry room. I do agree with everyone else though. The staff is horrible. They kick you out of the pool 10 minutes early, they charge you for everything, if they don't have a rule about something now, they will after you leave. They never smiled at me, they were always mean to any friends I had over to swim, and you better not be late for anything, but by golly don't rush them if you need something done... every complaint you have read about the staff is true, and the one time someone really cool actually worked there, they fired him for no reason (apparently they had over hired, and needed to let some people go)kicking him ouit of his apartment along with his wife and 2 month old baby!
I could live here again... maybe, but I would do my best to steer clear the management.
