I loved living here, but got screwed in the end

Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2007
I loved my apartment, except for the crappy fridge & stove & the carpet in the bedrooms were the original from when they built it 15-20 yrs prior. Gross! (While I lived there, they never painted or cleaned anything.....8 yrs!) I lived here for 8 years, always payed my rent on time, didn't have any complaints against me. When it came time to move out, do to problems beyond my control, I only gave a 3 wk notice. They didn't give me ANY of my damage deposit back. Even though I cleaned the apartment the best I could. Knowing the management - I had a gut feeling they wouldn't pay me, but I cleaned the apartment anyway. What I loved about it was, the view, my neighbors, the quiet, the pool & hot tub, Austin, & location.
