Good with some minor considerations

We stayed at the Gables for a year and enjoyed it very much. We only had a few problems that I wanted to make others aware of.
1. This community is very pet friendly. Be prepared to find some droppings sometime during your stay here. I think I've only seen them once or twice in my whole year. I feel like most of the residents try to respect others by cleaning up after their animals, but sometimes they just miss something.
2. Soliciting is a problem in this community. I'd called management about it and haven't received any more knocks on the door, but I see them around walking, still trying to sell a paper or magazine.
3. Location, the Gables is on a busy street, right next to a fire station, near an airport and train tracks. Put a fan in your bedroom if you're not used to noise at night.
4. Garbage, we live near the trash compactor, and it is awful. Every resident has to drive by it every day to get in or our of the complex. Almost every weekend, you can expect the trash to be flowing over the compactor onto the ground, and sometimes it got that bad by the middle of the week. Just wait for Christmas! It was not like this when we first lived here, so hopefully, Gables is trying to remedy the problem now that it exists.
I think that's it. I really did enjoy my stay there, despite the small issues. the neighbors are great. The staff is helpful and accomodating most of the time. The buildings are adequate for the price. I loved having a fireplace and vaulted ceilings! If we were staying in Antioch, we would probably still be at the Gables.
