The Good: Maintenance is prompt. Most problems are worked on the same day or next. The staff is mannerable and seems interested in helping. Near the mall, shopping, eating. etc. Decent utility usage. Nice size floorplans. Relatively low outside noise. The grounds are okay, nothing to write home about.

The Bad: Extremely old apartments. Fixtures and countertops date back to the 70s. Weight/exercise room is a joke. Parking is limited at some buildings. Dumpsters overflow within 2-3 days. The thin walls and floors can be a pain if your neighbors above have kids. The youngsters that roam seem to be wanna be thugs and are annoying. Lots of -------- and other foreigners live here. Several cars have been vandalized and broken into. In the building next to mine, 8 cars were broken into in one night. Security is a joke. The rent-a-cop does one drive thru and then locks those measley gates which seems more of a hinderance than a crime deterrant. The hallways are an acoustic nightmare. If your neighbors are loud and walk thru at all times of the night, you can forget about sleep because it will echo throughout your apartment. That is one of the worse aspects of this place. Never bothered going to the pool/playground/b'ball courts.

This was good when I moved in as a bachelor. Cheap, nice size, etc. Now that I'm married, and having a family; i'm getting the hell outta here ASAP. The staff is good, but not the place to raise a family. I would not recommend to a friend with loved ones.

P.S. - Not really a problem of Bell Hollow's, but Antioch is too crowded. Don't even bother leaving the house on Saturday.

I have lived here for two years now, and I have had no problems out of the -------- and foreigners, and wish all my neighbors were like them. I hate to admit it, but it?s the American families and their kids that make this place thuggish.
