There are many reviews here about how bad the crime situation at Bent Tree is. WTF! I grew up in Miami and let me tell you....this whole area is sweet compared to some crime areas that I've seen.
In the year that I lived at Bent Tree, I worked different shifts on different days and haven't witnessed any weirdness. Yes, there are a some kids at times hanging around with oversized pants and caps. Doesn't mean they're gonna rob you.
I've gone jogging during the day and night around the mall area. I'm still alive. ---- happens to the best of us, you just have to keep your eyes open and use common sense.
If you ever want to do some real sight seeing for crime areas...check out Liberty City, Little Haiti, or take a cruise down Grand Avenue in West Coconut Grove. Try not to get carjacked. :o) P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
