Bent Tree Apartments

I have recently just moved out of Bent Tree yesterday I had a year lease. I just want to start off by saying it's an apartment complex not a individual house, so expect things not to go your way all the time, but you do pay rent & do expect things to be done that's what you pay rent for. I will list the good/bad that I experienced. Let me start off by saying I was late 3 times on my rent & I did call them to let them know & I always paid my late fees never asked for that to be waived & they were cool about it & the reason I mention this is because I feel I'm a pretty good tenant/neighbor, I didn't play loud music have company over all times of the night & just basically polite to others. I had a 2 bdr 1067 square feet on the 1st floor. The apt was very roomie & the price was $633 a great price, I caught the special no deposit which was great & had a w/d in unit & paid water also great. I think the apartments are in need of an update remodel in & outside. The workout room is nice & pool area is also nice. The staff I never had a problem with them rudeness or nothing. I did have maintence calls every now & then & it was handled pretty fast. I do agree with 1 review on here regarding the trash problem on the property, for the most part i've ssen the workers collecting trash so they're good about doing it daily but some people don't care & throw trash whereever, it seems like in my building there was always some kinda of trash but I would just clean my doorway only & that's it. Forthe most part I don't have any complaints. The reason why I moved to this apartment was because of the size & location close to my job I moved from MI & didn't know the area at all, after living off of Bell Rd I decided to move that was the #1 reason because of the traffic w/Bell Rd. A few downsides to the apt was it was always cold in summer & winter I guess not good instulation the bills in the summer were not bad @ all since the apt stayed cold it was about $50-60/month & in the winter the bills went into the triple digits my highest bill was in Dec 05 (after all the huricane increases) it was $252. I was in a building near the office parking wasn't good at all, if you didn't home before 5-6pm you may have to park a little ways from you car & as always not all park their cars correctly in the spots. When I 1st moved in I think they should have replaced the carpet, it had stains on it all throughout the apt & I told them that but it wasn't replaced & when I lefted I cleaned the apt up really good so whomever gets that apt will be move in ready minus the carpet which i hope this time they replace. Also in mid Jan there was the infamous undercover cop/pizza man shoot out which i'm not blaming the complex but what concerned me was there was the same situation in Nov 05 pizzman robbed that I as a resident didn't know about until after the Jan thing which I had to find out about Nov shooting via the news, I do feel the apt complex should have sent a notice out to all. Also I see most of the reviews mention the section 8 complex down the street what the heck does that have to do w/anything, I never knew that it was section 8 until I read the reviews, I driven through there once before & it looks better then most non section 8 housing, people can be so stupid it don't matter we aint better or less of people if we lived in section 8 housing etc! Would I recommend this apt to others yes, but everyones taste is different so to each is own.

If you read my review correctly the reason why I mentioned the late rent is b/c I'm an honest person & I also stated I paid all my late fees & also I feel like I gave this complex a good review. I was just stating facts in my own situation & I can only speak for myself. Like you never been late paying nothing JACKASS DUMMY!
