I am just writing about a current experience with this complex. I am a previous tenent and the manager had advised me she would like to have me move back there and could get me moved in even when i provided her full disclosure about pets, credit, and a couple of late rent payments at current complex. Was totally honest and upfront with the manager, and was told no problem she would get me moved in based on the fact that I had lived there for 2 years previously and been a good resident. After going thru the process, only to be told a deposit would be required, agreed to that even though had been told in advance none would be, then told cant rent to me because my dog was over the weight limit, even though I had told her in advance and she said no problem. Then she tells me she cant rent to be based on current complex rental history. Information provided was incorrect and when it was attempted by the current complex to correct it, she advised the manager it didnt matter, she was still dening the application. Beware, get anything and everything in writing from the begining, but I would say you are better served going to a different complex.

I agree totally! They lie too much! I was told that they would pay for an updated alarm to be installed & low & behold guess who was stuck with the bill. My electric bill was higher than any house electric bill I had ever owned (240 for November 08). Their excuse was that the apt was just old. This is a warning to anyone looking here. If your looking for some cheap rent this is for you, CHEAP...

Dear Krackernut, if you have lived in TN specifically Davidson County you have seen the news and newspapers talking about 30,000 residents that need assistance with their power bill. We did not single just you out and make sure your power bill was $240 in a month. What were your past bills (say in the summer months?) Is your bill always this high? Where do you set your heat at? As for the alarm systems we do offer the keypad which would cost the most if you had to set up yourself. We also have instructed the alarm companies to bill us for any work that needs done to make the existing alarm active. This does not include motion detectors or additional hardware items. Our apartments are older they were built in 1985 and were not built to withstand -3 degree temperatures. Our rents are comparable to the entire area if you did your shopping, as well as not to many others out there that offer full size washer/dryer or pay for your water. We did not force you to live at Bent Tree perhaps you should live by your own words,"If you are looking for cheap rent this is for you".

stay away from bent tree. If you want to be lied to then that is the place for you. the crime rate up at arbor hills is lower than it is down at bent tree. I have lived in both communities, and the staff at arbor hills has integrity. The manager of bent tree could learn a lot from them here.
