Who in the world writes these reviews'

I lived at this complex for TWO years, and none of this stuff is even close to being true'

After I moved out, they sent me a bill for a bunch of bogus charges. I just ripped it up and it went in the trash.

The office staff is generally unconcerned about your issues (they're usually standing outside smoking cancer sticks).....
It amazes me that someone is always on here raving about how great the office staff is!!!

Makes me think IT IS THE OFFICE STAFF writing these reviews.

I mean, come on, generally the less interaction tenants have with the office staff, the better.

So, who gives a rats ass about the office staff' ' ' ' Just fix something when it breaks and I'll be happy...

The office staff are NOT your friends, its just their so-called "job". LOL

COME ON PEOPLE, the office staff writes most of these reviews, and I can't say I'd recommend these apartments to anyone.

Most of the NEGATIVE reviews are RIGHT ON THE MONEY, most of the POSITIVE reviews are FAKED!

I used to be the Assistant Manager at Brentridge until April '05 just before the property sold (moved to a different Sentinel property) and I want to say that when I was in the office we always read the reviews fretting over who wrote them (most are anonymous) and if they were bad what we could do to change their minds. Contrary to popular belief, we do care about our residents, yes its a job, but if you see these people on a regular basis you do start to care. The entire office staff tries to make people happy, if someone called and said they had a problem with maintenance they felt had been neglected, we would ride the maintenance supervisor until it was taken care of. When people owe $ when they move out, there is a reason- as an assistant manager I never sat and thought "now what can I charge these people for?"- our lives are so much easier not collecting delinquent balances and completing duplicate work orders. We have to answer to these reviews from corporate too. The manager, Lin, is a very understanding, empathetic person who will do whatever is in her power to help. BUT WE CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH, we have limitations. As far as safety goes- when we sign your lease we tell that we cannot guarantee your personal safety- 1st of all this is America- when is the last time you watched the news or read the paper and there wasn't something terrible happening, i.e. criminal activity. The Police are in charge of safety, not an apartment community staff. Anytime we did get a report we called our courtesy officer and asked them to add more metro police drive throughs. The maintenance staff comes when you call- if you call in a work order and it's not done right- keep calling- I guarantee they will keep coming back until it's right.
I miss the STAFF and the RESIDENTS!
