When I first moved in, I was very happy. My neighbors were quiet and friendly and parking was great. 2 months later, the SWAT team is there to fish out a drug dealer who shot a cop at a nearby bar. We could not get in our complex for hours. Since then, the neighbors I had have left. Now, all that move in are Section 8 residents. I am paying nearly $700.00 for a 1 bedroom. As my lease is ending at the end of the month, they wanted to renew it for $100.00 more a month. For a 1 bedroom!! Sorry. I am not paying almost $800.00 to live in the ghetto. I work for a living. I do not sell drugs and drive my car with the stereo blaring and waking people at 3:00 in the A.M.!! I am outta there!
This place is not an uprising complex,but a declining complex due to the neighborhood of Antioch going Section 8. I am a resident that pays every month for water bills that ranged from $11.00 to a whopping $25.00 per month. HEY! I am the only person living here!!Explain this to me please. This place has gone to ---- in a 1 year span. I can imagine what it will be like in another. Robberies and break-ins all the time, as well as car break ins. I do not recommend this place. Staff is very nice on the other hand, but not really there to help if issues arise. Look elsewhere or suffer the consequences. Go Ghetto Blasters Go!! Whatever! This place sucks!

Dear Mr. Middleclassreviewer, or shall we say Mr. Whiteclassreviewer. First off, if you would have called the office, read the paper or watch the news, you would have known that the guy the SWAT team came here for was not a resident. That was a random act that could not have been predicted nor prevented. Cambridge at Hickory Hollow does not take Section 8. I find this to be a very racist statement. Not all Black or Hispanic people are on section 8. Drug dealers? I believe that the police department will issue a monetary reward if you call and give them information of a suspected drug dealer that leads to an arrest. At least that is what they do where I am from. You might want to check that out. It sounds like you could make some extra money from this place????? You live in a world where bad things and bad people live. There is nowhere, unfortunately, this day and age, which is crime and drug free. There are always two sides to every story??? I always ask questions if I read something that sounds fishy, because you cannot always believe the author

Crapdefender- I have read this persons post 4 or 5 times and although I don't know about the apartment complex myself, I do have a response to your statment. Not once in this person's post did he/she mention race. YOU brought that up. There are actually quite a few caucasions on Section 8. I personally find your response offensive.

That's right he did not mention race at all you are the one(crapdefender)who is racist by calling him/her "whiteclassreviewer", I am just tring to find the right place to move to and I like for people to tell me if thugs or bugs live there.
