My family has lived in Cedar Pointe for close to three years now and we know for a fact that the management and staff here now has been and still is far better than the previous two who have come and gone.
With the previous staff, we would have had to call the office three or four times to get them to even notice a work order, let alone complete one. The maintenance guys were lazy, uncaring and snoopers. And as far as there being trash all over, I've only seen what was left by a tenant underneath or around their car or maybe someone who visited and left trash. If you are a resident and you want the place to look good, then take a moment and pick up the papers you drop out of YOUR car or call mangement and let them know there's trash and you don't want to pick it up. Quit belly aching about things that you could help with also. If it were your yard at your house you would keep it clean, wouldn't you' Well do the same here because you are part of this residence, get some initiative.
I agree that the lighting was bad at one time, but that has improved 90 percent.
We have watched this place improve tremendously in the last year in a half. No, the manager may not live here but when she comes to her job here, you are always able to see her and she will even take the time to stop and talk to you. She is always smiling and waving and making you feel right at home. Besides what difference does it make whether she stays here or not, most managers don't stay where they work. What you should do is quit worrying about her not being here and you take care of your part as a resident.
Some of the reviews from the past were le-git, but they are no longer true. Yes, there was a dead body found back BEHIND the apartment complex, NOT on it and the person was not killed there. Normally the person who wants to get rid of a body won't dump it in plain view, they will find a secluded spot. Don't you watch forensics on channel 53'
I could write more, but I'm afraid I will run out of space.
But in closing I would just like to tell those people who are concerned to just be careful. Be sure not to leave items on the seats or floors that can be seen by those idiots breaking in cars. Also, it doesn't matter where you live, you can have your car or house invaded. But try not to blame the apartment complex, do you think they really want you to have your car invaded' Do you really believe it would benefit them at all'
And for those who are just complaining, I say "get a life!" more than likely, you are probably one of many persons who at one time have dropped some trash or garbage yourself. And for you who complained about waiting on doors, why did you move into an apartment that was not completed' Had you left your other place of residence in a hurry and accepted this one as is'
PLEASE! Stop complaining about the place where YOU live. If YOU don't like it, break the lease and move. As you stated, there are a lot of other apartment complexes where you can go. But I can almost guarantee you will find something to complain about there also. As a matter of fact, if you don't like what you are getting paying rent, hey go buy a house....
