This apartment has gone completely down hill. I lived at the Arbors of Hickory Hollow for more than 11 years. Everything was very nice from the beginning. The management was the ultimate "buy" factor for me back then. Whatever was wrong the maintenance men were on it within 24 hours and they were all knowledgeable, kind and professional. The landscaping was nice. Iloved to come home!!! However, this place has gone to the dogs or should I say skunks (it used to be a skunk farm). The maintenance has no clue about what they are doing, the management is just as clueless. The landscapers are just doing what they are told. The security is there for a discounted apartment, ONLY!!! If you wonder why your water bill is so outrageous, well... they run the sprinklers when it is ice on the ground and when it is raining!!!! My kids never went outside to play because dog poo was EVERYWHERE including the breezeways. The swimming pools stayed dirty and the gym, or what once was a gym, is pathetic. Nothing works!!! The bathrooms are awful in there also. My husband and I invited some friends over, bad mistake. I was so embarrased by the bathrooms and the overall appearance of the complex itself. Trash was everywhere from the entrance to throughout the facility. The management could care less. Their attitudes need a huge adjustment. Broken, nasty, smelly and uncomfortable...oh, that's just the management's description. Even though we were getting a house built and we told them this 1 year prior to the closing date we still had to pay 1500.00 to move out because were leaving 45 days prior to the end of the lease. I didn't think that was right but we paid it just to keep my credit good. If you choose to live here be SAFE, be PREPARED for disappointment, be CAUTIOUS, be CAREFUL, BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay...It may be time for you to buy a house or a condo and move on. 11 years is a lo-o-o-o-ong time to be living in an apartment.
