When I first moved in it was my first apartment fresh out of high school so I really didn't know much and what was required to get an apartment until I tried to get another one. Well I got a great deal starting at 660.00 a month for the biggest 2bedroom 2bathroom. I moved in around fall and everthing was great until the winter came. I basically went all winter long without heat. I would contact maintenance and never would return calls or would not come by until days later. I lived in the bottom area and it was very dark no lighting, I had to walk from 2 or 3 buildings down just to get to my apartment when I took night classes at school. The apartment above mine had a toilet leak and for almost 3months my apartment smelled like poop until they finally fixed the leak upstairs. When they finally came to fix everything they argreed to move me and my roommate moved upstairs when they had a vacant apartment. Well, everything was good until the summer time came and we had no air! So after the complaining about the air the office offered us to move out without a penalty as long as we were out the next day! Well of course I could not afford to move at short notice so I stayed. Well a few months later they said that I had not paid my rent for 4months straight which I had and still have all my receipts and I have to go to court now because they gave me a 5 day notice to have 2100.00 or I woluld get evicted. I found out that they never asked me for check stubs or proof of income so ultimately someone within the office had been cashing my money orders! So no matter how nice or good of a deal you get, their are people that will try and con you out of your money. I WOULD NOT ADVISE THESE APARTMENT OR ANY OF THE APARTMENTS THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THE MISSIONS FOR ANYONE TO MOVE IN TO!

They do try to con you out of your money. I can't tell you how many letters we recieved once getting out of there saying that we owed money. Each time we proved them wrong.

It should be illegal to lie the way you are. No one can take your money orders, especially if it's clearly written on them MISSION MILL CREEK. Secondly, I don't see how you could stay in the apartment for 4 months and NOT get evicted? That's unfair if that's the case, because I was told if I was late on my rent ONCE, it would get turned over to an attorney. None of this came as a shock to me because I AM INTELLIGENT, and I READ my lease and asked questions. I knew what would happen if I was late. My recommendation to you would be to ALWAYS read the fine print...and not to blantantly lie.
