I've been living at Meadowood now for 4 months and can honestly say I really like it. My apartment is a 1500 square feet 3 bedroom and rent is very reasonable. The interior is a little outdated and could use new appliances, but for the price/size you can't go wrong. The layout is great and I have yet to hear the neighbors. The units seem very "sound proof".
I've never worried about crime while living here. Never known of anyones car being broken into or anything like that. Everyone seems nice and it seems management holds a higher standard for approval than other apartment complexes.
The management here has always been nice and the maintenance people are great. Only had to have one thing fixed and they were right on top of things. The facilities (pools, tennis courts, etc.) are very nice and well maintained.
Parking is never an issue since you must tell your guests to park in any space NOT directly in front of a building. This sounds like a hassle, but there are lots of close visitor spaces on the sides of all the buildings. Plus it keeps the front spots for residents, the way it should be.
I would gladly recommend The Villages (Meadowood) to everyone. I've had no bad experiences here and think this is a very safe environment unlike some of the other complexes in Antioch. If your looking for a nice complex with nice neighbors Meadowood is for you.
