I have been a tenant here for about a year and my lease is up for re-newal. I do not really want to move because the neighbors I have are very friendly. I had a water leak in my apartment and it took them almost a week to get it fixed because they said they had to get three different quotes with the new company! UDR did not make them jump through all these hoops. It did get fixed but it was fixed at 7AM with a loud hammering on the roof, what a way to wake up BAM BAM BAM. As for the safety of the property, there is a real issue. There have been several instances of crime on the property. Due to this issue and the fact it is Antioch I now own a pistol and take security into my own hands!! The other residents are right it takes them forever to get the gate fixed if it is broke. There was just recently a new manager put into place in the office, I have not dealt with him yet. I have heard from some of the girls in the office that the new management company S. Bell is very hard to work for. The rent does seem kind of on the expensive side for what is offered!! So overall the pros are the amenities, the parking and the pet policy. Cons are price, security and the constant turnaround of office staff.
