I give credit to the property given him a 3 out of 5 rating. The office and maintenance staff are questionable. I give the apartment complex a 2 out of 5 rating. My first year in 2008 I had problem with my neighbors. I complained regularly. I went into the office more than 60 before my lease was up and was giving notice. The property manager coincidentally was there. He addressed my issues with the noise finally stating, "It was not loud enough to be heard outside the door." I moved because he found another unit that was $218 cheaper. It is quieter.
Unfortunately the new apartment is good but the office and maintenance staff are questionable. It took 4 weeks to get the lightbuld replace outside my door. There was never a pre-apartment inspection. It took me contacting the property manager and emailing corporate to get a response. I talked with the regional manager. Besides still remembering the noisiness of my last unit, I expressed these issues. a A simplelight bulb wasn't replaced, it had been more than a month since I got my rental agreement, the charges and credits for last apartment were not communicated to me. The property manager told me part of the time he was at a conference with no internet access. I generally don't trust the office staff and would rather email the property manager.
This the clincher of this all. I was informed that the office staff and maintenace crew were not doing their jobs. They are currently being replaced again. They were replaced in 2008. Now they are being replaced again in 2009. Awful I tell you. I was asked to bare with them. But I decided to go into the office and speak to him directly even if I just have a simple question.
There were some promises made but I still even question the manager's ability to get things done in a reasonable time frame. I was promises the say day I emailed corporate my rental agreement would be delivered the same day. It was delivered Thursday morning while I was asleep. It did not have any of the pre-inspections corrections I requested. I sent a email just a few days ago adressing this and the price of my next month's rent because I am suppose to have credits. How long and what reason will will I be given. If I do not have the information I need before I send my electronic check for rent, I will problably send all this content to the regional director.
I recommend the public steer away from this community because the service and staff changes will be very difficult to ignor. Again I give this community a 2 out of 5 rating.
