This apt complex has gone down hill quick. We are on out third manager. We have had a drug bust about three weeks ago. I can watch drug deals happen from my living room window. They wanted to bump me rent u over $100 to renew my lease. (I am moving next month) On the weekends, we have car loads of people that come in and use the pool. 90% of them don't even know anyone here. I never even got my apt painted before I moved in; they told me they forgot I was moving in. How do youforget someone is moving in your complex. three days ago someone had their back glass smashed through and jsut a few days ago someone had their car stolen. I have lived here a year and during that time we have had at least one gate broke 99% of the time. This place is getting bad!

I agree. I'm a resident as well I'm having bug problems. My apartment is clean. these doors have tiny cracks in the bottom where bugs can easily get in. Also visitors taking up parking spots. When I come in at night, I have to walk almost 100 yards to get to my apartment. As high as the rent is, I think we're entitled to have closer parking. I plan on moving out by the end of this year. This place sucks.

Agree on both counts! I have lived here since 2001, but hopefully this is my last year. The complex was fairly new when I moved in...maybe 2 yrs. old, so it was great...a lot of young families, couples...several police officers living in my area...and everyone seemed to be respectful of of the surroundings and their neighbors. About 2 1/2 years ago, I really began to see a downward slide. My "new"(at the time)upstair neighbor threw her trash and cigarette butts onto my patio that had nice patio furniture at the time....all my patio furniture was stolen about a year ago. The girl either was dealing drugs or prostituting out of her apartment...many different men up and down the stairs...and noise and traffic in the apartment all through the night...your classic trailer trash! About 9 months ago when someone had parked in my reserved space and I was pulling in as they got out of their car, I politely asked them to move and the driver gave me the 1 finger salute and said F-U....real classy!

The condition of the Trash Pit area should not be allowed, but management seems to ignore. I've requested that signage be put up to have residents push the START button to compact after throwing in their trash, but it seems management would rather let it remain an eyesore and health hazard. As I write this, there is a large bin in front of the compactor that is overflowing, and as usual, in a couple of days, the Trash Pit will be overflowing too. I have pictures from about 2 weeks ago...if the trash is not picked up by Mon. or Tuesday, I will send an email with pictures to the City of Lakeland...MRG management sure does not care about upholding the image of Lakeland!
