Where do I start'
We are the first to occupy this apartment:
Air conditioning not working upon move in. Several other tenets stated the same; you think the complex would have verified this.
Cheap construction and materials. At first glance this looks like a great complex and you feel you have found the best quality apartment in the Memphis area. Not so. Problems with blinds, carpet, kitchen drawers, thin walls, and insulation (where in Gods? name is the weather stripping on your doors!)?cheap, cheap, cheap.
Short staff on maintenance personnel. It is my understanding they have one person for the entire complex. I do not know what he makes but it is not enough and he seems to be a good guy and has a head on his shoulders.
Unless you speak to the general manager outstanding items are not taken care of. Information and problems do not seem to get to the general manager. Overall, staff seems very unorganized and not helpful.
Management realizes the property is in a prime location and they will stay at a high occupancy. Once you are in they do not care if you are happy living in the complex.
Many tenants have left before the contract is over or have decided not to renew. We signed a year contract and have decided to stick it out so we do not have to go through the hassle.
This place is not worth the extra money and I am beginning to believe it is not even worth the average rate for this area. :-(
