The property is lovely and scenic with desirable amenities, but the people that reside here are less than desirable company. If you have a family or if you are not an alcoholic who walks around 7 days a week, beer in hand and gut hanging out, then I would strongly advise you look elsewehere. Not a family place at all. Typical party people living here, the sad part is that instead of the usual college- age range, it is mostly people in their late 30s to mid to late 40s. Unfortunately, most have kids that are a witness to their juvenile behavior. The complex is so large and there is only one pool, so in the summer pretty much everyday there are at least 10 but anywhere up to 50 people at the pool, which is a relatively small pool. 8 out of every 10 persons is usually drunk, so if you take your kids up to the pool, expect to see various liquior bottles sitting around, beer cans, people smoking (and ashing) in the pool, people cursing excessively, and ignorant teeny bopper music playing all hours of the afternoon, evening and night. The office staff included. On more than one occasion, I have been at the pool and had some ugly beer gut redneck old enough to be my dad hit on me or make an obscene comment and have also witnessed several incidents that began as screaming/ cussing matches and resulted in physical fights.
There is also a group of teenagers that live here that have absolutely nothing better to do that go around doing things like making peoples car alarms go off at 2 in the morning on a week night, make obscene comments to women, and kick dirt all over cars with their four-wheelers that they ride all over the property.
This has been a terrible experience for my family and I living here and I would not recommend this property to anyone unless you are a young party person who enjoys the company of lowlifes.

I would totally agree - I used to live there - there need to be rules for people with kids or teens - there's no reason not to follow basic rules. Families should get kicked out if they don't follow them. There is no one making sure people follow any rules (unless it's having a potted plant outside your door or something stupid like that). I tried to drive out one night at 1:00 a.m. for work and there were the group of teens... skateboarding in the complex setting off the car alarms. I had to call the cops. They (the teens) are allowed to drive cars, motorcycles, 4-wheelers - whatever they want through the complex. The pool area - alcohol shouldn't be allowed - and yes, it's even the staff doing it. And someone needs to control the people who don't live there using the pool - no one is doing that. You can't discount the fact that you can't get ahold of maintenance half the time after hours, the lack of response by the apartment management during a crisis or power outage (It wasn't me personally - but I've heard a number of people complain about it - apparently many were locked out of their apartments when the power was out recently - the garage doors were locked by someone and no keys were ever given to the residents - all of the staff members were either on vacation or out on dates and didn't care enough to show up at the office to check on people - even the next day they didn't show up on time - there was a line of people outside the office when it was SUPPOSED to open - and no one could call maintenance it wouldn't and they all had to stay in hotel rooms - and the office STILL hasn't fixed some of the apartments where they had to BREAK-IN because they say THEY DON'T HAVE KEYS TO THE GARAGES THEMSELVES. Right... and for what it costs to live there, you should have excellent service. Maybe there should be less time and money spent on landscaping and more on the security and safety of the residents... considering the dangerous city. The gates to the complex work about half the time. All they have to do is buy a cheap surveillance cameras (don't cost more than a couple hundred) to put around the area to find out who does some stuff around there). We were all promised cameras more than a year ago after a series of 8-9 break-ins at the apartments - which the staff just blamed on the residents. (they had to drop by the office to get all the stuff out) And if you don't like DirectTV - DON'T RENT HERE. You don't get a choice.. you have to take it. So good luck getthing TV during a storm or most other times - it's gone out so much it's not even funny. And why would you let moving trucks, boats and trailers for other businesses park in the complex all the time???? They take up very, very valuable parking spaces that we need for parking. That, and renting out the apartment office/clubhouse to EVERYONE EXCEPT RESIDENTS is BS. The party goers to these numerous parties at the clubhouse park whereever they want - then give you attitude if you do something like try to park and take out your trash (and they are all parked in the way of the only dumpster). And good luck trying to complain - the staff members get so defensive when you try to bring up anything that you just keep your mouth shut until your lease is finally up and you can move. Even the management group won't do anything about it.
