Nice facade, horrible inside.

I have lived here for over a year and honestly regret renewing. The complex was sold in the spring of this year and the company has been trying to make some major updates to the units. I have not received the majority of the changes and when I have spoken to the office staff regarding any issues, nothing is done. It has been over 3 months since I last told them of various problems in my apartment. On top of that, maintenance has entered my apartment without notice or on days not listed on their notifications, my front door has been left unlocked, and I have returned home to messes in my apartment not of my own doing. When repairs are done, they are definitely not quality ones. It really seems as if they are trying to drive out their current residents. Some of the contractors they have been using for the repairs definitely do not appear to be the most upstanding Americans - if they are legally here. I have never felt this unsafe in my own home as I have in the past few months.
Additionally, I was asked by the office staff to post positive remarks for the complex - after I was in there complaining!!
Honestly, really consider things before moving here, you can get apartments for a similar price just down the road that are newer and better maintained.
