"Improvements" are creating a bad experience. . .

My husband moved in before I ever saw the place and one of the selling points was the beautiful tree outside our window and the lush forested area that the buildings are tucked into. Since the complex changed to Venterra Realty Management, the "improvements" are creating a less desired life here. It started with the roofing: then came the leaking ceiling. The residing outside caused damage to the inside walls of the bedroom and outlets came out of the walls! Two corners are now separated and drywall has fallen off. By the way, there is no insulation between the siding and the inside walls. The painters sprayed without discretion and splattered our bikes with paint. A little warning and we could have moved them inside for the day. They say there has been over $5 million in improvements, but I would prefer windows that keep out the cold and appliances that work. Now, to top it all off, the landscapers are cutting everything down or pruning so much that a tornado might have left more branches!! I suspect some of the trees will die due to how severe they were pruned. Woods are being completely cut down and leaving so much open that all you see are other buildings, cars and parking lots. Not to mention the wildlife here - we had foxes, raccoons and deer to name a few. Everyday I when I drive back to my apartment home I am afraid of what I will find cut to pieces or missing. It makes me sick to think about it. Not much for feeling at home here. If you look at their ads the photos show woods and other beautiful images. You will be disappointed. And for the price, it is too much to pay for disappointment.
