My family has lived in the McKay's building #9 for almost a year now. We live in a walk-in second floor and whenever we've had noise issues after hours the Franklin Police have always quickly responded to the situation after a call to the "courtesy line."
One of my biggest complaints is the trash dumpster/compactor. When we first moved in garbage would stack as a high a second story window, but after they remodeled the area around dumpster/compactor the crew has been on top of keeping the area clean. It's just a pain to have to keep stinky garbage sitting by the door until you have time to drive it to the dumpster.
We've only had a couple of maintenance issues. One, mice in the kitchen, was responded to within 24 hours. The other, master bathroom electrical outlets not working, took them about a week to fix. However, the maintenance crew is always pleasant and polite.
If you're looking for a place in Brentwood/Franklin I would highly recommend the Landings.

Thank you for your comments, hopefully your compactor issues will be a fleeting memory. We are working on a completely new Compactor that will compact as the dumpster fills and will alert the service company instantly if there is a problem.

Hey. You ever think about just "Asking" someone to be quiet before you call the cops. A great use for tax payer resources.. the noise police...

Unfortunately the college students that lived below me couldn't translate my request for turning down the noise and when you wake my 6-month-old up at 2:00am my patience level is very low. I didn't call the police...I called the courtesy line. The Landings has contracted with the Franklin PD to handle those courtest line calls at night...no taxpayer dollars involved.
