Empty jacuzzi

Don't move into the Landings of Brentwood if you want to use the jacuzzi. It has been closed for two months. I asked the office when it would be open. She seemed all annoyed that I asked, and she said they had no idea when it would open. At the same time, someone was there to rent an apartment, and I heard the Landings agent brag about the jacuzzi being open all year. That's what they told me when I moved in, but it is not true. Now I read that the jacuzzi was closed a long time last year. I wish I knew before I signed the lease.

| I apologize for the jacuzzi being closed. Unfortunately we have a major problem with the jacuzzi and the pool company has been out several times for repairs. The pool company has ordered several replacement parts for the repairs, but due to structual problems the time frame has been extreme. Hopefully the parts will get delivered shortly and the jacuzzi will be back up and back for your enjoyment. Once again my apologizes for myself and The landings! | |

So not having a jacuzzi is the reason why you're unhappy? So if they had not had one in the first place, you would not have moved in?
I agree. It is frustrating when something offered is not available, but things happen. You've voiced your concern so hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Thank you manager for your response, although I am still upset that the jacuzzi has been empty for such a lengthy period. I discovered that the jacuzzi has a long history of breaking down. Obviously the people maintaining the jacuzzi are doing a terrible job and should be fired.
For Anonymous: yes and maybe. I expect people to fulfill their promises and sales pitches, and I get mad when they do not. Don't you? You are correct that "things happen;" however, when the same thing happens time and time again, this shows that management is either unwilling or unable to properly maintain the jacuzzi. You shouldn't promise prospective residents a jacuzzi that's open 12 months a year when it actually operates only eight or nine months, year after year.
