Today they were supposed to open at 10:00am, and I called at 10:05 to make a noise complaint from the night before. I was rudely told by the answering service that it was only 10:01, and they would be in in about 10 minutes. Fine. I waited until 10:25, and I called again. I was told they were there but had not taken the phone off of "do not answer" so I walked my dog down to the office. There was no one there. I waited until 10:45, and no one was there. I called again at 11:00, and I was told they would be in "shortly". This is only the most recent in a string of problems I have had in the year I have lived here.

Nothing is done about noise complaints.

My water heater was incorrectly wired, and it would shut off every two days so I would never have any hot water. They came out several different times to look at it, always stating I would have no more problems and giving me some reason for the problem, but it was never fixed. Finally, on the 4th attempt, it was fixed. They did, however, cut $50 from that month's rent at my request.

The pest control service they employ let my cat out of my apartment and did nothing about it. Eight hours later, when I returned home, I found the cat roaming the streets.

They called me to say that they needed me to bring in my key to make a copy because they "lost" mine. That did not make me feel very safe, and they said they would rekey the locks, but I would have to pay for it.

When I renewed my lease (which I was stupid to do), they charged me MORE to renew instead of cutting back, which is what most apartment complexes do to thank you for renewing.

They left a golf cart plugged in overnight, it sparked, and it burned down an apartment. That was many months ago (maybe six'), and they have not repaired it. It just sits there, burnt out, and they use it to store junk like old refrigerators. It is an eyesore.

On a positive note, the maintenance crew is very polite, and they seem to be doing their best. They were left to clean up a big mess from the previous crew. Additionally, the new paint job does make the place look a lot better.

Honestly, I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Why don't you move out? I'm sure if you are having this many problems, they would probably let you out of your lease!
