I have lived in these apartments since 2001. When I first moved in, I had no pets, the staff was EXTREMELY helpful and pleasant, maint crew was attentive and no problems were had. I moved away and came back thinking that I was getting into the same situation. I was certainly not. When I initially moved back in 2 years ago, the staff was the same marvelous crowd. They were easy to talk to, understood complaints, put a rush order on all of the leaks that happen in older apartments, etc. When the management changed, the apartments have gone downhill. I have had no problems with the maint staff, but I HAVE had MANY problems with things breaking, leaking, falling apart, and management has failed to rectify these things. I am a reasonable person, and I do agree that the apartments are not brand new, so things happen, BUT it is all in the way those things are handled. Rent is being raised so much that I cannot afford to live there after living in 4 different apartments. Parking is hard to come by (i live in a 2 bedroom, and only need one spot, but still can't find it sometimes and have to park in the handicapped spot and risk ticketing). I have not received a ticket, but many of the tenants I know have. I would not recommend living at The Courts at Waterford, however, I do realize that people have different experiences, so maybe you will have a better one...
