Apartments have changed management and new owner, former New Yorker turned FL resident, has bought the units, raised rent considerably and is turning units into condos. If anyone is foolish enough to buy these apartments - because that's what they were built for - they will regret it. Parking is horrendous, noise levels are those of an apartment, not a condo, and maintenance costs will be high. Not only that, if a unit beside, above, or below you is converted for sale, you will enjoy long hours of remodeling work being performed. Two BR's are listed at $159,000, plus $200 mo Maintenance Fees and one BR for $89,000 are so small, you'll be lucky to have a place to store food, not to mention your coat. Storage space is almost non-existent. A few garages are available, which may or may not be close to your apartment - I mean "Condo" - for an additional $10,000. If you really, really want to live here, wait a year till reality sinks in and prices fall considerably.

MY RESPONSE TO YOUR REVIEW IS THAT YOU DO NOT PURCHASE AN APARTMENT, UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO LEASE IT OUT. I LIVED IN THE GRANDVIEW AS A RESIDENT,FOR NINE YEARS, AND MOVED AROUND WHEREVER I WANTED. AND I NEVER NEVER HEARD ONE THING. I COULD GO TO THE GREENLIFE, FOR MY DINNER TAKE IT HOME, CLOSE THE DOOR AND SHUT OUT THE WORLD. NO NOISE WHATSOEVER, I ALWAYS SAID IT IS MUCH QUIETER THAN A HOME, AND QUIETEST MULTI FAMILY I HAVE EVER EVER LIVED IN. PARKING::: NEVER THE FIRST PROBLEM, AND NOW IT WILL BE A BREEZE YOU USE THE WORD WILL ALOT, LOOK UP THE WORD IS.THERE ARE ONLY 2 OR 3 ONE BEDROOMS ANYWAY, GREAT FOR A DOWNTOWN WORKER WHO HAS A HOME, OR SINGLE PERSON OR A NEWLY WED COUPLE PURCHASING A FIRST HOME, INSEAAD OF PURCHASING SOMEONE ELSES PROPERTY. PLUS THEY HAVE THE AMMENTIES, FOR 500.00 OF A THEATRE, WORK OUT ROOM, DINING, AND BREAKFAST ROOM, AND SOMEONE AT THE LOBBY TO HELP ASSIST YOU IF YOU NEED SOMETHING. A SECURITY CODE AND DOUBLE LOCK DOORS. AND HEY, DO YOU HAVE A CART TO TAKE YOU GROCERIES AND SHOPPING IN. OR YOU CAN BUY YOUR OWN TO ROLL ACROSS THE GRASS,ROCKS, AND HOLES. DO YOU HAVE A COKE MACHINE AND TREAT MACHINE, FOR A TREAT FOR YOUR MUNCHIES AT NIGHT, AND TO TAKE YOUR PUPPY FOR THAT NIGHTLY TREAT. OR WALK AROUND IN THE MIDST OF THE SUNSET OR SUNRISE, AND SEE IT APPROACH, OR CAN YOU SIT IN YOUR PRIVATE GLASSED IN PATIO WITH YOUR GREEN HOUSE OF PLANTS, AND LOOK OVER THE CITY,WHAT A VIEW!!!!!!!!!! OR THE MOUNTAIN, IF YOU CHOOSE THAT VIEW. STORAGE SPACE, WELL, WHERE ELSE IS THERE STORAGE, THROW AWAY WHAT YOU HAVE NOT USED IN A YEAR, AND WITH THE CLOSETS, WHY SHOULD YOU NEED MORE THAN ONE. (YOU KNOW, I THOUGHT THE OTHER DAY, IF YOU HAD, OR EVEN WANTED TO, YOU COULD LIVE WITH 2 SPOONS, 2 FORKS, A COULPLE OF GOOD KNIVES A POT AND PAN. AND 2 PLATES AND 2 GALASSES AND 2 CUPS. DOWNSIZE, AND GET WITH IT, AND PUT THE MONEY TO DECORATE, AND LOVE AND ENJOY LUXERIOUS SURROUNDINGS. AND AS FAR AS THE COAT, YOU WILL HAVE A COAT CLOSET, I DID, EVEN IN THE 1 BEDROOM, AND IN THE NEW 2 BEDROOMS, YOU CAN AS MANY AS YOU WANT. BESIDES, LIVING, IN THIS TOWN, WHO NEEDS MORE THAN ONE. I DO NOT THINK I WILL WAIT A YEAR. I THINK, I WILL QUIT PAYING A CERTAIN GROUP 725.OO FOR A 1,000 SQUARE LOFT WITH NO WALLS. 300.00 ELECTICITY, AND NOISE,AND LED PAINT, CEMENT FLOOR, ROTTEN HARDWOOD, AND WHY DECORAT, I DO NOT OWN IT. AND STUCK UP PEOPLE WHO TRY TO BE WHAT THEY ARE NOT, AND LIVE WHERE I TURN LEFT AND I AM IN ST. ELMO. I WANT NEAR MY GREEN LIFE, AND FRAZIER AGAIN, THE WALKING BRIDGE, AND THE RIVER WALK, THE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT GATHERINGS, OR CURLING UP ON THE COUCH , AND WATCHING MY BIG SCREEN. OR TURN UP THE MUSIC AS LOUD AS I CAN, AND NO ONE WILL HEAR. CITI CAFE WILL BRING MY FOOD, EVEN, IF I CHOOSE. AND WHATEVER I WANT. YOU GO WHERE YOU WANT AND ALLOW ME TO KNOW HOW IT TURNS OUT. AND WE WILL COMPARE HAPPINESS, AND MONEY. THE ONLY THING BUSH DID FOR THE NEWLYWEDS, AND RENTERS. BUT FOR THIS PRICE, PAY CASH.BY RENTING AN "APARTMENT" IN THE NORTH CHATTANOOGA AREA FOR ABOUT 850.00 ::: A CONDO YOU PUCRCHASE TO LIVE IN OR AND/OR INVEST. I HAVE LOOKED AT EVERY CONDO IN TOWN. WHY NOT PURCHASE RIGHT ON A BUSY STREET ON FRAZIER FOR A ONE BEDROOM FOR 189,000.00 AND LISTEN TO HAMMERING, AND THEN WHEN FINISHED, LISTEN TO TRAFFIC. OR BLUFFVIEW WHERE EVERYONE CAN VIEW YOU, AT ABOUT 389,000.00 FOR A 2 BEDROOM. AND NO THEATRE, UNLESS YOU GO TO THE BI JOU AND PAY. . OR FOR PLEASURE GO THE HUNTER EVERYDAY?? OR TO THE COFFEE SHOP??? OR TO THE SAME STORE EVERYDAY??? NO!!!!!!! I WANT MY AMMENTIES IN THE SAME BUILDING AS I AM. MY WORK OUT ROOM, MY THEATRE FOR PRIVATE THEATRE FOR POLITICAL SEMINARS, AND GLOBAL WARMING VIDEOS!!! I WANT TO GO BACK HOME, AND LOOK AT THE CITY FROM MY PATIO, AND QUIT BEING A HIPPIE AND HAVE A GORGEOUS APARTMENT, TO PLAY AROUND DECORATING.
