First off, the staff has always been nothing but helpful and considerate of us. They actually remembered me out of the hundreds of tenants that they have. The grounds are always kept up and look neat, and that was a big plus.
After that, my opinion tends to slide a bit. The parking is not enforced by any means, and we would often have to park at buildings other than our own because someone decided to have visitors. Our neighbors often left trash, cigarrette butts and other things outside their door, attracting bugs to ours. The insulation between apartments isn't great, and we could often hear others around us, especially above us. The noise curfew is not enforced that strongly and we would often hear the neighbors' unruly children out on weeknights after midnight.
I would suggest that the managment hold everyone accountable for the rules that are written into the lease agreement, such as not littering, enforcing the noise curfew after 10 p.m. and not allowing trash to be kept outside doors. I know that in situations like this you cannot pick your neighbors but if everyone was held to the same standard, I don't think as many problems would arise.
