These apartments are so bad. I have lived there for a year and a half in three different apartments. In the first, we moved into a two bedroom during the summer and the apartment stayed at about 85-90 degrees through the whole time we lived there even if we set the air on 50. The bathroom tiles in the shower fell out of the wall and left a big gaping hole into the inside of the wall which smelled really bad anytime you took a shower. I moved out of that apartment in september and moved to a different one at ashford place. It was over all a descent apartment, nothing awful happened there. The walls were poorly insulated and I could hear everything my neighbors next to and below me did. We did have a leaky sink so they put a big hole under our sink going all the way through the apartment on the other side of ours and I could hear people in the bathroom if I was in the bathroom. This is also when i found out that when they make you pay extra for an apartment with washer and dryer hookups its really not fair because they don't have a vent for your dryer which sucks because it makes everything hot and steamy. Also, if you don't put something over the vent on your dryer you will end up with lent all over your clothes because the hook up are in the closet of the master bedroom. I moved out of this one in May and moved into a downstairs three bedroom apartment also in ashford. This was the worst of the bunch. First, the ceiling leaked by the sliding doors some and they came to look at it and said it was just condensation but it wasn't. The oven was too hot and burnt everything. THe carpet was crappy and ripped in places and there had been animals living there before we did. The had supposedly cleaned the carpet but after a month the stains came back up. They had obviously only cleaned the top and not gotten deep down inside. The master bedroom which was mine was awful. The linoleum in the closet was peeling up and tiles in the bathroom would just come right up out of the floor. The walls and ceiling were thin you could hear everything, and I mean EVERYTHING...The ceilings were awful. It sounded like a herd of elephants lived upstairs and I have met the people up there they are not big at all. Then we started to notice mold growing in the smaller bathroom on the ceiling. Maintenance came out and scrapped the outer layer of the ceiling off and sprayed bleach on it and it came back in a few days and had spread to the walls. They attempted the same treatment a few times and then we complained enough and they came and took out the whole wall and took two weeks to fix that. they had also taken off the back of our toilet and put it in the shower and taken off the curtain rod. They never came and fixed any of that and the three of us had to share the one bathroom that is in my room which was awful because we all got up about the same time. Then the apartment managers acted like we were asking so much of them to just fix it. We ended up calling CLK(the apartment owners) and they let us out of our lease early. They are much easier to deal with than ashford place managers. I would suggest moving to the other apartments they own if you just really have to move here.

I am the previous response to yours and totally agree with everything you said. You had added some things I forgot about b/c I was writing in a hurry. We ended up just leaving b/c it got o the point where our neighbors would catch them snooping in our things and we had to set up a camra. One of the maintenance men was stealing my underwear and going through very personal things of mine. We also got arrested on a complaint for somethign we didnt do and they were apart of it and lied to the police to get us in trouble b/c we said we were going to report them. I never got the chance to though we were just ready to get out of there!
