My husband and I moved in (military) because we were in a rush to find a location. I wasn't pleased with how old many of the appliances were, but didn't mind only because this apartment is temporary. That aside, maintenance is a nightmare!!

We have had several of these appliances (which I believe to be around 30 years old) stop working. Our refrigerator leaks, our stove works when it wants, all of the faucets leak, and our air conditioner is rusted out and rotted and doesn't work.

Our electricity bill for this 1000 square foot place (with no one home during the day) is over $200 in the summer because the AC runs non stop and DOES NOT COOL THE HOUSE DOWN. We spend many nights in front of fans, unable to move and are still sweating because its over 85 degrees.

We have called the office over 30 times and most of the time their answer is "call back" or "I will put in a work order". Well after 8 months of living here, NO ONE HAS EVERY CAME to fix the dishwasher, fridge, stove or leaky sinks. I also have holes in the walls where I can see inside the wall to look at wiring and a hallway light fixture that is hanging by wires from the whole in the ceiling.

There is also LARGE VISIBLE MOLD spores on the siding - that can't be healthy for you!!!

The grass is infested with fleas, and when they finally do mow - all of that grass ends up on the front of your vehicle because of how parking is. The downstairs lights DO NOT WORK and it is unsafe because you can't see if there is someone lurking around down there waiting to attack in the dark of the night.
