I have had an apartment at the Meadows for over 2 years and I have to say that I have been very pleased with the place. While the rent has increased a small amount every year, I've been absolutely amazed at how low my electric has been even though I run the A/C CONSTANTLY in the summer.

Of course, as with any apartment neighbors can occasionally be a little noisy, but the only time I ever heard mine was when I was in the living room. There seems to be a high turn-over rate with some renters, but I think it has more to do with the types of people who rent rather than the apartments or the manager. The rent is fairly cheap, but if you are planning on driving all the way to FT Campbell or across town then expect to pay a lot in gas. I don't think a lot of people figure that into their expenses.


The maintenance are good guys and come by every month to do preventative sprays for bugs. It must work since I haven't noticed any.

Everytime I go into the complex office the manager always knows who I am and is extremely nice. If you tell her any problem or concern, she will work with you.

The biggest complaint I have about the place comes from last winter when Clarksville got a huge snow/ice storm. I ended up being stranded at my apartment for like a week, because the hill to my complex was a sheet of ice. In their defence, the city didn't even get the roads cleared for a few days and I know the Meadows was on a long list...I just wish they would have had the roads cleared sooner. I saw several people slide down the hill backwards after failed attempts to climb it (its not even that big).

Overall I would recommend the place and if I wasn't planning on moving out of state I would renew my lease for another year.
