I am currently living in a 2-bedroom apartment at Wallace Glen. I moved here because 1) it's affordable ($400 for the first few months!), and 2) very close to post (between gates 2 and 3). The maintenance workers are very professional and courteous, as is the management. The few times I had problems with the apartment, the staff attended quickly. It's disappointing that there are no washer/dryer hookups in the apartment, because at times the laundry room is full/dirty/hot (summer). There is a tiny playground, pool, and "designated pet area". The pet area is just open space, not fenced. It's really sad to see that a lot of pet owners do not pick up after their dogs. Everyday I just watch my steps, praying that I don't step in a pile. Between apartments is a grassy area which, unfortunately, are grounds for poop as well. I don't know how often the lawn crew comes by to mow the grass, but it's not enough. The parking lot, first come first served, is occasionally littered with trash and cigarette butts. Like previous posts, the walls are unusually paper thin and you can hear almost everything if you live below a family. Construction of the rooms was poorly done- the doors are mis shaped, the windows bring in a lot of draft, and the fixtures are of poor quality, as is the laminite flooring and carpet. Cable hookups are only in the main bedroom and living room. I wouldn't mind staying at Wallace Glen, but if there was another complex a little nicer and just as affordable and close to post, I would definitely move. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
