Honestly, Not my First Choice

I only lived there for about 8 months last year, but i have to say, that the apartment we lived in (compared to the apartments in california), were very cheaply made. They are ok if its just temporary, but i would not recommend for long term. The walls are very thin. I had a box on my kitchen floor that i scooted up against the wall, with very little force and it made a hole in the wall. I had to pay for it when i moved out. Its impossible to not dent the walls in that place. When i moved in, all the doors were patched up and looked really bad,i think they could have replaced the doors. When our air broke down in the mid of summer, i have to say the maintenance did come out and fixed it pretty quick. The parking was decent where i lived, i almost always got to park in front of my apartment. Yes the neighbors were loud sometimes but over all it was ok. Although i didnt always feel safe there by myself. Once we moved out, I gave them my forwarding address and number so they can reach me if they needed me to pay anything. Next thing i know i have a collection letter in the mail for 300 dollars. I never even got a letter or call, they claim they sent me one letter but i dont think so. I was told by the agency to contact the glen wallace to fight it, so i called glen and they told me i have to go through the agency. So after both of them gave me the run around i just paid the $300 that neither of them deserved. Oh well, jsut make sure that you do a walk through WITH THEM before you move in and afer you leave, so you can pay your dues before you go, Because trust me, they will make you end up paying for something.
