We've been here almost 2 months and like it so far. The move-in condition of our apartment should have been better though. Sloppy painting, leaky faucets, closet doorknobs broken and a non-functional alarm system. Maintenance has been great however with problems fixed quickly. Our microwave died on a Friday night. They wouldn't come on the weekend since it wasn't an emergency but replaced it on Monday with a new one. The dishwasher was a cheap Hotpoint model that does not clean very well and is essentially worthless. However the management got us a new one after we complained and maintenance confirmed it needed replacement. The replacement was also a low-end model but was an improvement. Rent is higher than most other places we looked but we chose based on location (interested in buying a house here soon), schools and no limit on dog size (ours is 100 lbs). Based on that criteria we our happy with our choice. Unfortunately having a pet friendly apartment has the down-side of residents not cleaning up after their animals as is required. The apartment provides doggy stations with bags for clean-up but you'll still find plenty of "landmines" on the grounds. I did see a clean-up service come out once so far that picked up the messes but it would be nice if all residents followed the rules. The only other complaint is common to most apartments - thin floors. If you have someone living above you you'll hear them walking around especially if they have lead feet.
