Appling Lakes

 

My boyfriend and our two kids have lived here for 5 years.

We have seen many of our neighbors come and go! I can't say that we have had any real problems(My neighbors apt was broke into("WE" think it was the guys that painted the buildings)ANYWAY!! PARKING!!!! It's a Nightmare!!!!!(Truely),in my building anyway.

I have never worried about my families safety, or our vehicles.

The only thing I did notice was we have had a constant change in the leasing office at least 3 or 4.

When I first came "Lee Ann" was in the leasing office and Appling Lakes was Paradise 100%.

When they up and left, thats when I did notice a slight change in the community and the people that lived here, the main gate stayed unrepaired way to long for this to be a "gated "community.

I also noticed trash laying around "that" was not normal.

The people there now, I really don't care for but, I have to admit they did have the buildings painted and they seem to keep the community pretty clean.

I think they just need to watch the people they contract to do work around the community.

One other time last summer we, and another neighbor spotted a young latino guy who was supposed to be gardening, walking around looking inside of vehicles so, it does help to be a (nosey) neighbor.

We have seen every nice apartment community in Memphis and Appling Lake is on the top of the list, as far as overall community, floor plans(very spacious),location and price.

We have been here for 5 years and I don't think we will re-sign our lease.

I will tell you this, we have yet to find a place that offers the same amount of space for what we pay here.
