Appling Lakes
< | >
I currently live in Appling Lakes. I liked everyone in the office and the complex. I lived there 2 weeks and was broken into. It took 3 months to get a new front door. Since my break in, there were 5 more in my building. Everyone has moved out with the exception of a few of us and we live in fear. While we were all outside congregating on the latest of the break-ins one of the employees who happens to live one property said we don't come to neighborhood watch meeting so this is what happens. The break ins were happening during work hours and mostly on Fridays. To pay the high rent there you kind of have to have a job and most normal working hours are during the day. But needless to say, there has been no sympathy and no security that we were promised. The breezeway lights were out a week and nothing extra provided for us and out safety. I am counting the days to the end of my lease if I can make it. The threats of breaking your lease is of more concern to the company now because almost half of their buildings are now empty. So no, do not consider this property unless you have GREAT renters insurance and no sentimental values in your property

It does not matter which apartment because they are all horrible. I don't live in the unit that he/she is talking about but they all are the same.
