My girlfriend and I have been here for over a year in an upstairs 1 bed 1 bath.

Positives include the obvious like the garage and the storage above the garage, the fact that they're newer than most others in the area, the nook in the kitchen (for upstairs apts), the bedroom closet is big, the utilities are somewhat cheap compared to places that a couple of our friends live, free security (once activated) which we haven't even used because we just haven't heard of anything happening around here, they recently raised the pet weight limit to 60lbs, the bath tub is large, ... I could go on about what we like about it.

Negatives include the noise transfer to lower floors. Our neighbor underneath asked us to keep the dog from running around in the mornings, so we said, "OK, no problem." Then, one evening at around 4 or 5 pm he starts banging on the ceiling, which we assume because we were playing with the dog. What a jerk. Then, even worse, we're putting groceries away in the kitchen, not even horseplaying and the dog was laying down, he starts banging again. We stomped back. Long story short, if you don't like noise above you, don't get a downstairs apt. I can't vouch for how bad it is down there, but I know we weren't doing enough for him to be banging on the ceiling.
Another negative is the pool never seems to be clear and blue, but rather it's always a greenish color which they told us was caused by a recent rain and that it would clear up.

The deposits are kinda steep, but all in all, my opinion is that it's still the best bang for the buck in the area.
