I lived there for 2 years, paid my rent on time and never had any type of complaint. I was a good tenant that proactively paid for my dog to live there. The residents are fabulous but the management staff is HORRIBLE. They are charging me $1200 to replace ALL carpet due to the "smell of my dog". The carpet is 2 years old with no visible pet stains but the Assistant Manager told me it's the "dog smell" that ruined the carpet and padding. How does 1 dog ruin carpet simply by her smell even after she moved. My dog is an inside dog, how is that possible'
The Assistant Manager referred me to the Property Manager who told me that she didn't inspect my townhouse but that she would personally inspect it and call me back. That was 2 weeks ago. When I call her, she is "out to lunch" and will not return my calls. The issue still isn't resolved and I finally mailed a certified letter to prove I'm trying to resolve the issue otherwise they will send me to collections on May 15th.

You're probably going to have to go and raise hell in person to get anything done. good luck, and hopefully you can get out of it!
