I lived in Country Squire from 2003 to 2005, and in retrospect, I can't believe I stayed that long. Sure the price is right, but the appliances are outdated, the apartments are drafty, walls are thin, and I had a major brown recluse problem. I killed at least 3 spiders a week, one of which was usually a brown recluse. Our appliances kept breaking, and although the maintenance man was pretty good, he's too overworked to fix things in a timely manner. My building also bordered Germantown road, which was annoying at night because there was no escaping traffic noise at night. Sure there isn't much traffic at 3 am, but I could hear every car that drove by, and I was facing the inside of the complex. Parking was always a problem, and there was always at least one car that never moved stuck in front of the building. It would take them 6-8 months to get around to towing it.
As far as security, there is a guy that patrols the parking lots, however I never saw him past 9 pm. My car was broken into once, my roomates twice, and our apartment door was kicked in once. I can also tell you exactly where all the drug dealers lived on my street. They never caused any problems for me, or made me feel uncomfortable living there, but its no secret what you're doing when all sorts of people are constantly stopping by for 5 mins and leaving leaving again.
Also traffic is horrible during rush hour (stop and go right in front of the entrance), so add an extra 10 mins to your drive to work just to get out of the parking lot.
I've lived in worse before, and for the price its not horrible, but there are much better deals out there.
