I am writing this the day after my Country Squire apartment was broken into and $2,000 worth of stuff was taken (Thank God for renters insurance, becuase you better have it here!). We moved in July 2005 and our unit containing 8 1-bedroom apartments has had 3 broken into so far! Same guy everytime: he kicks in the crappy, 20 year old doors. He tried it on ours a few months ago and we asked for a new door, but all they did was replace the latch. Guess what folks: that didn't help! I DO NOT feel safe here with only 1 (YES 1) security guard for the whole complex (I was told this in person by the 1 security guard).
Oh, yeah and not to mention the constant mold and mildew in our apartment (has really affected our health via sensitive skin problems). AND our oven and range was broken for a month! We kept calling each week, but was told "we're short handed right now". Then hire new people! Our is Country Squire too cheap to hire more handmen and security guards' (Answer - YES).
In conclusion: The apartments need to be totally refurbished top to bottom to get rid of the bugs and mold, and hire some security people for Pete's sake!

BAD mold problems has been investigated my city of memphis, and they fined CS apts!
