First of all, my husband and I had just gotten married in Feb of 06..Had gotten our 1st apt. @ country squire in early may. the staff seemed to be soo nice then.Well then we moved in.As soon as we moved in the leasing agent somehow forgot to mention there is NO LIGHT(FIXTURES) of any sort in the bedroom;also our garbage disposal broke in 2 days.Well within a week our swinging blinds broke, our dryer took almost two days to dry a load of clothes(not exhaggerated!) and half of our windows did not have screens. Then came the worst part-ROACHES.- I am not talking about the ones that you get when you leave food out-not the 1 inch looking ones-I am talking about 3 to 4 inch long roaches that were fat.Throughout our lease which lasted less than a year..we had our apartment sprayed 7 to 8 times and the OWNER of the pest control company came out and sprayed our apartment with the strongest thing they had-DIDNT WORK-Management DiD NoT cArE!Needless to say you can get up for a cup of water in the middle of the night and see a few on the walls-makes you not want company!-Ok well then our hot water heater busted.Half of my clothes and purses got ruined.They did not care and said there was nothing that we could do about it.Well we moved out when our lease was up-and later ASKED us why WE DID NOT ASK FOR COMPENSATION FOR THE PEST CONTROL PROBLEM AND LOSS OF CLOTHES!!! On top of all that, on weekends and weeknights it is impossible to find parking,there are lots of break-ins,lots of kids running around and screaming thoroughout the night, etc. The office staff is so horrible.I could not believe my husband and I got treated this way in these apartments.
WHATEVER YOU DO-NEVER MOVE HERE IT WILL BE PURE HELL-

I am moving from post house jackson (which is awesome btw) but in regards to yours...first my town home here has no light fixtures here either so no biggie, 2nd cheap blinds break god knows how many we have had to replace, as to the dryer get your own if you dont like theirs, we are moving to this location and we are bringing our own. your things that got ruined...renters insurance :) I am sure it was a bad exp but not everyone's is the same just keep that in mind cause if we would of listened to all the bad reviews about places in memphis we'd still not have a home. Really until you buy your own home will some of those problems go away, however ---- happens take it with a grain of salt and move on, peace :)
