SOUNDS LIKE THESE PEOPLE ARE JUST TRYING JUSTIFY GETTING OUT OF A LEASE OR SOMETHING. SO MOVE, WE LOVE THE VERY SPACIOUS APARTMENTS, GORGEOUS GROUNDS, TERRIFIC TERRACE VIEW, NOTHING LIKE HAVING A GLASS OF WINE ON THE DECK AND WATCHING SQUIRRELS JUMP TREE TO TREE AFTER WORK! SUPER NEIGHBORS. GREAT MANAGER! LOVE THE STAFF & ZERO PROBLEMS WITH MAINTENANCE IN 2 YEARS. THEY EVEN SIGN FOR OUR PACKAGES AND LET US KNOW WHEN THINGS ARRIVE WHILE WE ARE AT WORK..A SERVICE THEY DO NOT HAVE TO PROVIDE..SECURITY IS CONSTANT, POLICE PRESENCE IS STRONG. NEVER HAVE HAD A PROBLEM!

"SECURITY IS CONSTANT, POLICE PRESENCE IS STRONG" There is a reason that this is so...cause of all the theft and drugs dealings going on in the Country Squire neighborhood. I lived there 4 years and my best friend is a Memphis police officer and he lived on the floor under me and he did security for Country Squire. He told me stories that would make you move yesterday. Some advice, don't go to the parking lot at night alone. My car was broke into twice and my best friends truck was stolen. And the maintenance staff, OMG. They call themselves maintenance? They came and ripped up carpet in front of my water heater that leaked and took them 8 days to come back and replace it. They left exposed nails around the wall and my 2-year-old daughter picked up a razor blade they left behind. We have since moved and are much happier in the apartment community that we now reside in down the road. Country Squire gets two big thumbs down!

The reason that there is such strong police presence right now is that their have been 3 armed robberies in the past month that the staff has actually reported to residents. I have personally witnessed security gaurds taking naps on the grounds, and hitting on residents instead of doing their jobs. I put in a maintenance request over a year ago, and they still haven't bothered to come and fix the problem. However, they have come into my home univited 4 times and have been caught on camera. Which A) is against Tennessee state housing laws and B) violates their side of the lease agreement. I personally feel that you're a certain staff member that a lot of residents complain about.

"SECURITY IS CONSTANT" well that's a lie. If security were constant we wouldn't have so many dangerous things happening. Here's my problem with them ; they thought it would be a great idea to repave parking lots that did not even NEED to be repaved instead of doing something about the safety. Can you imagine how much it cost them to repave all of that, and they can't even get gates up or better security? That is where their money SHOULD have gone. CS is one of the largest apartment communities in Memphis, and you would think they would have security to match that. They left a note saying that security was going to be heightened, you know what I see? I see ONE security guard in a golf cart to provide safety for thousands of people. I am honestly afraid to leave my apartment period without my husband watching me. I make him stand out there until I am safely out of my parking space.I won't go check my mail EVEN IN BROAD DAYLIGHT since a girl was raped here during the day. I think that's really sad that a multi-million dollar complex won't even spend a few thousand to make their residents feel safe.

That was a sealant put on the parking lots, by the way, and much needed to protect your tires and control water low; not an asphalt job. I have noticed a significant difference in the security increase. Like anywhere else; if you are nice to the staff and security and a good resident and properly report things - my experience is they will be helpful and respectful to you. I do agree we must all look out for one another Hence the "Neighborhood Watch Programs"..whether you live in Cordova in an Apt of a 1/2 million dollar home in Germantown. We choose to live in a metropolitan area..unfortunately, unlike the rural area I grew up in..the more people, the more crime.

There was a sign posted today stating, they will no longer sign for packages! What are they to busy...I have lived here for a week and the water has been cut off three diffrent times on separate days. Spacious...lol...when you check out the place...look around they have no closet space..luckly I am skinny or I wouldn't be able to walk in my closet.

On every bulletin we receive about a crime (carjackings, robbery, sexual assault, lewd acts being performed by a man at the pool) they say to call the police..nothing about security. You see security around, but they are always on their phone or parked in a corner lot. My husband came in from working on planes all day and went to wash his hands and guess what...NO WATER! They shut it off all the time and there have been numerous occassions where there was DIRT, yes folks, DIRT, coming out of our bathroom sinks and tubs. This place is raunchy.
