I finally moved out my apartment in Sept. It was the most horribly managed apartment complex I have ever lived in, and I have lived in several in the past 20 years. You have to call maintenance at least ten times to get them to come out and fix anything at all. The air conditioning/and heater vents have never been blown out, which caused a constant build up of dust. There was mold that was never taken care of, and I had to go to the doctor once a month from headaches because of this. The appliances are at least 20 years old, and don't think you're going to get them replaced. I was told before I moved in that the carpet would be replaced, but never was. It had stains everywhere and bleach stains. There was red stains on the wall (looked like Koolaid). My dryer smokes so bad once that the smoke alarm went off, but it still took several calls to get someone to come out. It could've burned the apartment down. The wiring has never been replaced or probably even checked. They talk great talk to you before you move in, and show you an apartment that looks nothing like what you're getting. DON'T DO IT. HUGE HUGE WASTE OF MONEY!!! BIG MISTAKE!!!

I totally agree! These are the worst apartments that I have lived in and I wish that I would have read yor review before I moved here. I am also counting down the months that I have here. The maintenance department sucks. The apartment located uderneath mine had no type of lock on it and they acted like it was nothing. I had to call the corporate office in order to have the problem fixed and they fixed it the same day. It was like this for about 2 months. Take my word avoid these aparments.

I lived there 2001-2008. CS went steadily downhill the whole time I lived there. I couldn't work as a leasing agent at this property knowing what people are getting when they sign a lease. And don't kid yourself, they know! I've lived in apartments for 30 years and these were the WORST managed and had the WORST maintenance of any place I've lived. When I called the corporate office, they were argumentative even though I was telling them the truth. I will NEVER again live at a Fogelman property - this was my second one.
