Country Squire is truely the absolute worst apartment community you can ever,ever live in. I have never had such a bad experience and I have lived in many apartments! We were showed a model apartment and told that ours would look exactly the same.Not true! The carpet is disgusting, cabinets were falling apart, every wall was painted a different color, our front door frame was cracked so badly it hung off the wall. Every maintence call was ignored. Our dryer broke in November and was not fixed until January!! I would call every day for a month and get the same run around. The office won't handle maintence calls and the maintence office never answers the phone. Our apartment literally fell apart around us and they would NEVER come out. It took them a week to fix our air conditioner in July. We had to sleep at my mother's house. To add insult to injury, after we finally moved out they refused to give us back our security deposit, claiming we left it in bad condition! That apartment looked 20 times better when we left it then when we moved into it! Noise is a huge issue as well. We could hear our upstairs neighbors putting dishes in the dishwasher. At least twice a week we would wake up to weedwhackers and lawnmowers at 7 am or garbage trucks picking up dumpsters at 5 am. People were always screaming in the parking lots. I don't think I slept one full night in the year we lived there. Another gigantic problem is the bugs. I accept that any apartment will have a few spiders or ants, but I have never dealt with that many bugs before. We got ants three times and we are not dirty people! I started ignoring the dozens of spiders, because I figured at least they were eating the other bugs. Our electricity bill was always super expensive, because the air conditioner is from the 60s and every window leaks. Bottom line, this is the worst maintained, most horribly managed apartment complex ever. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague!

I also resided there from 2003-2007. And the bugs were an issue for us as well. We not only had ants and spiders, but we lived on the water front and had to deal with those HUGE water bugs. Maintence was a joke. They came and pulled up carpet in my apartment and left my front room without carpet for 2 weeks. Everytime my husband and I called we were told tomorrow. Well, tomorrow took 2 weeks. Not only did my floor look bad for that long period of time, but there were tacks exposed around the wall from where the carpet had been tacked down and my daughter was 2 at the time which was a safety issue. She picked up a razor one of the carpet people dropped which she could have hurt herself with. DON'T RENT HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT! The model is nothing like what you will rent! To add more, my best friend moved in and had her truck stolen a week after my car window got smashed in and radio stolen. I am soooo glad we moved! The prices may be cheap but you get what you pay for, if you can even say that cause you dont get much at all.

I agree 100% This apartment complex should be condemned because all the buildings are just falling apart. Maintenance is absolutely horrible. DON'T RENT HERE because you will have health issues from the mold, and everything needs fixing and it won't get repaired. BAD place to live.
