I lived at HL for over a year. All things went pretty well until the end of my lease. The apartment above me had a water pipe break and my bedroom, laundry room, and hall was flooded. I was not pleased how the maintenance guys and the apartment manager handled the situation. Their response to the accident was slow. The manager has an uncaring attitude. I think she is fine with tenants that pay their rent and leave her alone, but if you have a problem the manager doesn't seem to want to talk to you. Also, the gates always have problems. The gates maybe worked a few weeks out of the over a year I lived at HL.
