Don't move here, but it's under new management

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I moved in during late 2005 and the place was a nightmare. The apartment was left in an uninhabitable condition that took 3 extra weeks after move in to fix. However, the staff is very friendly and gave rent discount for it.
The walls are thin so you here more than you'd prefer. Also, if your bedroom is next to the A/C units and electrical boxes outside on the ground floor, be prepared to here a CONSTANT buzzing.
Ants dominate the neighborhood. It took me almost 2 months of spraying and professionals to drive them out. I'm sure they just went into a vacant unit because I still see them crawling outside.
The workout room equipment is vandalized and has been "patched up" so that it works, but not in 100% condition.
The neighborhood is attaching a lower income client. There are small groups of high school kids thru "20-somethings" roving and loitering in packs all day.
Finally, on the plus side, LEDIC just acquired this neighborhood and is trying to turn it around. However, the buildings themselves aren't that great and just cleaning up the grounds a bit isn't going to fix the structual problems the area has.
