I feel that Houston Levee is a great place to live...I just renewed my lease which I have never done at any other apartment I have lived in. I have never had any problems with the staff...very pleasant and helpful. The grounds are kept nice and clean. The apartments are maintained and the outside is kept very nice as well. I feel safe for the most part...we have only had one recent incident where I got a little nervous but the management team was on it the next day. My only recommendation would be to put a speed bump in the entry way where the gate is. I think that this would decrease the number of cars that can go through the gate at one time. Right now 6 or 7 cars can go through at one time making the residents more vulnerable. If not a speed bump then maybe a night gaurd could be placed there. Just a few suggestions.

You must be talking about another complex. This place is a mess. A guy that just moved out of there said there is a big drug problem. There was a drug bust not too long ago. I hope you aren't working for the apartment trying to trick people. Folks, think long and hard before moving into this place. When my car got broken the police said that there had been many break-ins in the complex, yet management didn't alert the residents. I guess the guy that got tackled by police under my window was an isolated event. Wait, what about the other guy that ran from police? Again, I would recommend finding a better place to dwell. These people may have had a better experience or maybe they have a lower standard of living. I want myself and my property to be safe.

If you want a safe place to live, HOW ABOUT THE MOON!! I hear the view is great from up there and the crime rate is GREAT. Get a life. If the only thing you got to complain about is reguarding things that happened to other people or what someone told you, you are doing great. Have you watched the news in Memphis at all in the past few years. People get killed in Memphis!! Sounds like you need at reality check quick!
