going downhill

Since moving to Houston Levee I have begun to feel unsafe with people hanging out in the parking lot by the cars when the weather is nice. I also don't feel like the lighting is very bright in the parking lot, especially when you don't get a spot close to your building and you have to walk a ways. When outside apartment lights burn out, it takes the staff forever to actually come and replace the bulbs. I had to call and keep reminding them 2 weeks in a row. It is also very hard to get someone to answer the phone in the office even when it's during business hours. There seems to be a drainage problem in front of my building, since when it rains there is several inches of standing water at the bottom of the steps. It also is not convenient to go to the back of the complex to throw away trash and most of the time the trash bin is so full there is trash sitting on the ground. Lately the security gates into the complex have been working but this wasn't a normal thing for quite a while. The positive thing about Houston Levee is if you are looking for a 1 bedroom it is the largest floorplan I came across. Plus it has the most awesome storage closet as you enter the apartment (it goes the whole length of the living room area). It's also nice to not pay extra for the security alarm. uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
