We moved into these apartments in November of 2006. It was really nice for about the first 5 months. After that, it was downhill from there. In April, we began having problems with our A/C. And just for the record, if your air goes out at night, the temperature inside the apartment must be 80 or higher before it is considered an emergency for maintenance to act on at night! Our A/C overflooded into our closet and we had mold everywhere. We had to completely evacuate everything out of our closet and put all of our clothes in our bedroom forcing us to sleep on our couches in the living room. We fought on and off for 2 months...we even called ER property management in Birmingham and the only nice person was the maintenance mgr there. We got our rent lowered for one month but it still did not make up for our restless nights on our couch and the mess we had in our bedroom and bathroom.

The parking is ALWAYS a problem unless you pay $60 for covered parking, and there is alot more covered parking and garages than there is regular spots. My husbands tires were cut in our parking lot and we reported it but of course, nothing happened. Our neighbor was held at gunpoint while walking to his mailbox, there for 4 doors kicked in on the third floor and robbed. I understand we are in Memphis and there will be crime but we were paying ENTIRELY too much money for a "gated" community for all of this nonsense.

The final straw was when my brothers car was broken into one night and everything was stolen out of it. It was the 5th or 6th car reported car theft in two months there. It was ridiculous, we terminated our lease and paid a lot of money to get out because my husband and I were worried about our safety. There is alot of drug running as well that worried us.

I would not and have not recommended these apartments to ANYONE ANYTIME!!

I am hoping that all that are looking for an apartment will take in consideration all that is said & experienced by existing tenants here @ Lincoln at Wolfchase. The word is out, now heed the warning, it is only to protect you from bad experiences & a terrible loss of privacy, security & the neglect of the apartments managers & staff.

We were lucky enough to get out of there before all the break-ins started. My condolenses for all the tenants who have fallen victim to the ever-growing crime rate at Lincoln at Wolfchase!
